Industry Gallery opened in January 2010 in Washington D.C. The original location occupied over 4000 square feet of space in a converted auto-repair shop. In March 2011, The gallery opened its current exhibition space in Los Angeles’ Pacific Design Center, one of the West Coast’s top design destinations and home to a branch of the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA).
industry Has worked with some of the largest art institutions in the nation since 2010.
As the name suggests, Industry presents artists who create new and innovative works utilizing modern industrial materials. These materials range from common items, such as recycled magazine paper and aluminum, to more sophisticated mediums, such as fiber optics and carbon fiber. The gallery hosts temporary exhibitions featuring artists who illuminate a broad spectrum of experimental art & design evoking complex three-dimensional experiences.
